Meghalaya TMC launches a new scheme called Meghalaya Financial Inclusion for Women Empowerment (MFI WE), to provide assured monthly income support to every household. Under this scheme, a direct transfer of Rs. 1000 per month (12,000 yearly) will be made to a woman in every household as guaranteed income support.
